The Real Reason You’re Stuck

There’s a reason you can’t move forward.


It’s not a lack of motivation. It’s not that you’re broken either. It’s not even that you don’t know what you want.


It’s that part of you is still back ‘there’.


Back in the moment something happened that you never fully processed. A loss. A betrayal. A moment where you decided - without realising it - that the world wasn’t safe, or that you weren’t enough, or that love always comes with pain.


You didn’t choose that belief. But your nervous system filed it away as truth. And it’s been running quietly in the background ever since.


So you try to move forward. You set goals. You read the books. You talk it through. And for a while, maybe it works. But then something pulls you back. The same pattern. The same wall. The same feeling you can’t quite name.


That’s not weakness. That’s a wound that never healed.

The subconscious mind doesn’t experience time the way your conscious mind does. It doesn’t know that years have passed. It only knows what it learned, and it will keep protecting you from a threat that may no longer exist - until you go back and show it otherwise.


That’s the work.


Not rehashing the past endlessly. Not reliving what hurt you. But returning to the root with fresh eyes, and releasing what your nervous system has been carrying without you even knowing.


When that happens, something shifts. Not just emotionally - physically. The tension you’ve held for years begins to soften. The fog lifts. The path forward that always felt blocked suddenly feels open.


You were never stuck because you weren’t trying hard enough.


You were stuck because part of you was still waiting to be heard.
