Loneliness

REBECCA HINE

WHEN "FINE"
NO LONGER FEELS
GOOD ENOUGH

STOP BLAMING YOURSELF

I work with adults who grew up in

emotionally difficult homes.

My work helps people move

from “what’s wrong with me

to “This is me.”

What brings people here

Most people I work with aren’t falling apart.

They’re functioning - often well.

But underneath, they’re constantly adjusting: What they say, how they respond, how much space they take, and how quickly they recover.

They grew up in environments where staying alert mattered.

Those patterns were useful then.

They’re exhausting now.

This work is about changing those patterns so life no longer feels like something you have to manage.

You don’t need to relive your childhood.

You need it to stop organising your present.

What changes

Most change shows up quietly.

People notice they’re not rehearsing conversations.

They stop automatically explaining themselves.

Decisions feel simpler.

Recovery after stress is faster.

Not because they’re trying to be different -

but because old responses lose their grip.

Life feels more direct.

Less effort.

More choice.

How the work happens

We don’t spend months talking around the problem.

We work with the patterns that formed early and still show up now - in how you react, relate, decide, and recover.

Sessions are focused and deliberate, with time between them for change to settle into daily life.

There’s space to unpack what matters.

There’s structure so it doesn’t drift.

This is practical work, not ongoing processing.

Working together

We work over a defined period so change has time to stabilise and hold.

We use a structured series of sessions to:

  • get clear on what’s actually running

  • shift it at the level it formed

  • allow those changes to integrate into daily life

You don’t need to perform or prove anything.

You do need to be willing to engage.

Who this isn't for

This work isn’t a fit if you’re looking for:

  • reassurance or emotional venting

  • advice without change

  • someone to carry you through the process

It is a fit if you’re willing to take responsibility for your own shifts and let old patterns fall away.

Clarity matters here - for both of us.

Next step

If this way of working resonates, the next step is to apply so I can assess whether this work is a fit.

No pressure.

No convincing.

Just clarity.
