FEAR OF abandonment
Part of you is always waiting for them to leave.
What it looks like
You cling, or you keep everyone at a distance. Sometimes both in the same week. You test people. You stay in relationships long past their use-by date because alone feels worse than unhappy.
Why it happens
Abandonment doesn't need a parent walking out. It can be a parent who was there but emotionally absent, unpredictable or busy surviving. The child learns that love can vanish, and starts bracing for it.
How RTT works on it
We find the moments your subconscious used as evidence that people leave. Once you see what that child concluded and why, we can change the conclusion. You stop managing people and start choosing them.
